Hinges are sturdy/not overly tight. The lenses are polarized & definitely suppress good ol' Sol while making everything sharp & clear. Highly recommend you buy these. Great value for the price.

They aren't really the dark. I mean, they look very good, they are lightweight, and the fit is fine, they just aren't super dark and that's kind of why you wear sunglasses, right? Although admittedly, I am kind of picky about sunglasses so ymmv a bit. Still as inexpensive as they are, try them. They might work better for you.
